WHAT IS THE RADIUS CARD APP?

Radius Card is a debit card monitoring application available for smartphones and tablets. The app helps protect your finances and keep your Radius Bank debit card secure. The most popular feature of the app is the ability to turn your card off should it become lost or stolen and back on should you simply have misplaced it, giving you peace of mind that no one is accessing your account or spending your money. Additional features include: setting location-based spending restrictions, creating spending caps or activity limits to help you stick to your budget, and enabling alerts.

WHAT DEVICES IS RADIUS CARD AVAILABLE FOR?

Radius Card is available for all consumer debit card customers on iPhone and Android phones and can be downloaded directly from the App Store or Google Play for free.

I LOST MY DEBIT CARD, WHAT DO I DO?

If your debit card goes missing, use Radius Card to suspend its purchasing and cash withdrawal functionality. From the main app screen, tap OFF on the switch below the image of your debit card. When you find your misplaced card, use this feature to reactivate it.

If your debit card is permanently lost or stolen, please contact Customer Service via:

  • Telephone at 800.242.0272
  • Secure email in the Messages tab of your Online or Mobile Banking account
  • Web chat

HOW DO I RESTRICT CARD USAGE BASED ON LOCATION?

Step 1: Log in to Radius Card

Step 2: Select Control Preferences on the main screen

Step 3: Choose Locations

Step 4: Set location restrictions

  • Regionally (city, state or country)
  • Internationally (block the ability to use your card abroad)
  • By location (subject to your mobile device’s ability to access your current location)

Please note: Location restrictions saved on the app override travel notifications you provide to our Customer Service Department. For your security, please alert our customer service team if you plan to travel.

HOW DO I DISABLE THE USE OF MY CARD AT CERTAIN MERCHANTS?

Step 1: Log in to Radius Card

Step 2: Select Control Preferences on the main screen

Step 3: Choose Merchant Types  

  • Enable merchant controls based on type, including retail shops, gas stations, restaurants and grocery stores.

Please note: At this time, Radius Card does not allow you to enable controls for specific merchants.

HOW DO I RESTRICT CARD USAGE BASED ON TRANSACTION TYPE?

Step 1: Log in to Radius Card

Step 2: Select Control Preferences on the main screen

Step 3: Choose Transaction Types  

Step 4: Turn off the transaction types you want to restrict, including in-store, online, mail or phone order, auto-pay and ATM 


HOW DO I SET A SPENDING LIMIT FOR DEBIT CARD?

Step 1: Log in to Radius Card

Step 2: Select Control Preferences on the main screen

Step 3: Choose Choose Spend Limits  

  • Enter a dollar limit
  • Save your selection

Please note: Future purchases that exceed your updated spending limit will be declined.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY ALERT NOTIFICATIONS?

Step 1: Log in to Radius Card

Step 2: Select Alert Preferences on the main screen

Step 3: Set up the alerts you want to enable, including merchant type, transaction type, location and amount

CAN I RESTRICT ONLINE PURCHASES WITHIN RADIUS CARD, BUT STILL USE MY MOBILE WALLET APPLICATION IN STORES?

Yes, you can still use mobile wallets (Apple Pay®, Samsung Pay and Android Pay) to make in-store purchases. However, your debit card must be linked to your mobile wallet prior to limiting online transactions within Radius Card.

CAN I CHECK MY TRANSACTION HISTORY WITHIN THE APP? 

Yes, your debit card transaction history is available to you in Radius Card under Transactions in the menu bar.

Please note:
Radius Card will not show transactions made prior to activating the app on your device. 


The Radius Card app is available for free on supported Android and iOS devices. Standard data and message rates apply when using the Radius Card app. Radius Card is compatible with Radius Bank personal debit cards.
